Two years and counting..

Josh and I just got home from our anniversary dinner.. I cannot believe that it has been two years already! In two years we have lost jobs, gained jobs, lost friends, gained friends, restrengthened friendships, gone to school, taken time off work for school and put up with each other! I must say, I am a blessed girl! Who else would put his career desires on hold so I could go to school to seek the career path the Lord placed me on?! Who else would do all the house work, yard work, and cooking so that I can lesson plan, write papers and work on projects for one school or another?!

I am amazed at where the Lord has brought us in the past two years. I am thankful that God hand-picked my husband for me, that he molded us to fit one another so harmoniously! I am in awe at Josh's strengths in the areas of my weakness, or his ever-present patience with an impossible wife, or his genuine love and tenderness towards others.. whether it is our neighbors, friends, families, or a stranger. I love my husband's kindness towards others, it is an example he sets for me daily.. and one I'm glad he'll set for our future (very far future) children.

Thank you Lord, for my precious husband. I pray that I can be even a fraction of the wonderful spouse to him that he is to me. I pray our marriage is glorifying to You, for that is our purpose in life.
